APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist
Ashlea Mary has an interest in the prevention and treatment of Musculoskeletal disorders and Sports injuries. Her love of dance and the arts has seen her gain employment as a Physiotherapist with musical theatre and dance productions in Sydney: Les Miserables (2015), Anything Goes (2015), Belgium Dance Company, Sydney Tour (2015), Mark Morris Dance Company (2015), Fiddler on the Roof (2016), We Will Rock You (2016), My Fair Lady (2016, 2017), Diary of a Wombat (2017) and Carmen motion picture (2021). Ashlea worked as the Principal Physiotherapist for Bangarra Dance Theatre in 2016-2017 and has been the Principal Physiotherapist for Sydney Dance Company since 2016.
Sporting athletes will benefit from Ashlea’s clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills along with dancers profiting from her expertise in conducting Pre Pointe Assessments and Dance Screenings.

Physiotherapist
Shannon’s true passion lies in dance. She is an accomplished dancer herself and has been teaching dance in the Sutherland Shire for over 10 years. This experience allows Shannon to have a unique understanding of dance injuries and provides her with the ability to prescribe specific injury management programs, returning her patients to dance at a greater standard than before. Shannon is also passionate about injury prevention which has led her to work with numerous dancers who are keen to improve their performance and prevent an injury. Shannon spent the last two years working in New Zealand where she was involved in presenting injury prevention seminars to the New Zealand Dance Company.
Shannon has also completed further study in the area of Women’s health physiotherapy and is committed to supporting the well-being and fitness of women of all ages, from pregnancy to menopause and beyond. She provides thorough and effective treatment for pregnancy-related issues and post-natal care, pelvic floor dysfunction, continence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain.
Shannon has also gained qualifications in Clinical Pilates and often likes to incorporate this style of rehabilitation when treating her Women’s Health and Dance patients.
Physiotherapist
From a young age, she has lived an active lifestyle and fell in love with physiotherapy after regular assessment and maintenance to allow her to perform at her best. Isabella has an interest in the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries stemming from her passion of dance. She has over 16 years of experience dancing at a high competitive level and has trained in classical, contemporary and jazz dance along with years training in acrobatics.
Isabella has worked as the physiotherapist for the Southern Districts Rugby Club’s Athletic Development Program (2021). Her love of dance has allowed her to work as a physiotherapist in Sydney for 9 to 5:The Musical (2022), Opera Australia (2022, 2023) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (2023). She also currently works as a physiotherapist for Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional year students. Isabella is keen to help others realise their physical potential and assist them to reach their goals and return to all activities. Outside physiotherapy, she enjoys pole dancing, pilates and oztag.
Physiotherapist
Brittany has been involved in a variety of styles of dance for over 20 years, including 5 years of teaching experience. In 2011, she obtained her BDA Teachers Certificate in both Classical Ballet and Tap. Brittany also competed in solo Eisteddfods for 10 years. She still participates in dance training and performing as an adult.
With her background and passion for Dance and Physiotherapy, Brittany has spent her career working closely with Physiotherapists involved with both Australian and touring dance companies, to provide specialised treatment for recreational and pre-professional dancers. This experience revealed the benefit of having a Dance Physiotherapist in your corner. Brittany resonates with the difficulties and barriers that come up as a young dancer and prides herself on relating to dancers on a personal level. She aims to help her clients grow into safe, strong dancers through tailored exercise prescription.
Brittany is a Professional Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS).
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Nutritionist
Pru began dancing at a young age, went on to dance professionally on cruise ships and continues to teach dance. It was her love of dance and human movement which led her to study exercise physiology. Pru has worked as an exercise physiologist across a wide range of settings including gyms, hospitals and clinics and has experience working with sports injury rehabilitation, dance specific conditioning, weight management and chronic pain. She has also worked as a Pilates instructor since 2014.
Pru is also a nutritionist and understands the importance of nutrition for injury prevention, performance and general well-being. Her dual qualification enables Pru to capitalize on the interactions between to the two fields to optimize recovery and performance and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Dancers, athletes and the community will benefit from Pru’s knowledge and experience. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals. Outside of the clinic, Pru enjoys dancing, lyra and going on family bushwalks.
Pilates Instructor
She is also a trained classical, contemporary and latin ballroom dancer with over 16 years experience. She began Pilates to build increased strength and flexibility to compliment her dancing but ended up falling in love with all that Pilates had to offer.
Prior to undertaking her pilates training she completed a Bachelor of Business Management in 2020 at the University of Technology Sydney, however, found that her love of pilates took over.
Over the period of her studies, she was mentored and gained an array of knowledge and invaluable experience, which has provided a great foundation for her teaching career. Bianca is passionate about Pilates and improving the wellbeing of people and is excited to work with the Peak Performance Physiotherapy team.
Exercise Scientist & Pilates Instructor
Georgette currently delivers exercise prescriptions at several clinical pilates studios and for Full-time Dance Organisations (Ettingshausens Pro and Brent Street Classical/Contemporary).
Georgette studied and worked alongside respected accredited Exercise Physiologist Donna Oliver, where she Completed her a Diploma in Pilates Movement Therapy Rehabilitation. Working with Donna inspired Georgette to continue her education in a Master’s of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at University of Wollongong.
In 2014, Georgette Graduated with an Honours in Dance from The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, NYC. She has trained and performed extensively in contemporary dance, modern dance and classical ballet in NYC, UK and Australia. Her greatest achievements have been dancing with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, NYC Theatre, Scottish Dance Theatre, Dundee Rep, UK and Russell Maliphant Company, UK.
Georgette has had an extreme interest in anatomy, movement science and dance specific exercise since living in NYC and the UK for 4 years. Her fascination not only assisted her musculoskeletal issues with hypermobility but enhanced her passion and desires to educate all dancers and non-dancers in how to discover their bodies by applying an anatomical and biomechanical approach, to assist their movement in a pain-free and less fatiguing range.
